Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association Names New Board Members
The members of the Tennessee Association for Justice changed the name of the association back to the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association during its Annual Convention last week in San Destin, Florida. New officers were also elected for the year.
The association elected Thomas Greer as president for the 2016-17 year. Greer, a Memphis attorney, replaces Eric Buchanan of Chattanooga who served as president from 2015-16. Buchanan now assumes the role of immediate past president and Bruce Fox of Clinton advances to president-elect.
Since graduating magna cum laude in 2005 from the University of Memphis School of Law, Thomas has helped make a difference in the lives of victims of serious personal injury, wrongful death, and professional negligence. Thomas has extensive trial experience in both state and federal court. He is a partner in the law firm Bailey & Greer, based in Memphis, TN.
“Thomas Greer has been an active member in TTLA for over 10 years. He will be a true asset to the Association and the citizens of Tennessee,” stated TAJ immediate Past President Eric Buchanan. “He has dedicated his life to helping others and will do a wonderful job leading the state’s top trial attorneys as president.”
Elections were held at the TTLA annual convention in Destin on Friday, June 17, 2016.
